Online Returns

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase from Salt Melbourne.

Should you wish to return items please contact us within 7 days of delivery via email at info@saltclothing.com.au.

We are happy to offer you a full refund on most items if you are not happy with your purchase. Please ensure items are returned unworn and unused, with all original tags and packaging attached. We kindly ask that shoes are tried on a soft, carpeted surface, as shoes with scuffed soles or worn interiors will not be accepted. Shoes must be returned in original shoe box with all shoe bags included. Garments received with make-up marks or other stains will not be accepted.

Full priced items purchased online can be returned for a refund if the item is returned in its original condition with all tags attached and original packaging in tact.
Shipping is at the customers own expense.
We do not accept returns on gift cards.
Undergarments, swimwear, beauty products and fragrances cannot be returned for hygienic reasons. Please contact us before purchasing these items if you have any concerns.

Sale Terms

Please choose carefully as we do not accept any returns on sale or discounted items purchased online or in store unless faulty. If you are unsure of a sale item purchase please contact us at info@saltclothing.com.au.

If a garment is deemed faulty please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order and we will arrange to assess the item.

Special Promotions

Items purchased with a promotional discount or promotional offer may be eligible for refund, and such eligibility or otherwise will be clearly stated in the promotional offer terms. 
Items returned not in accordance with this policy will be held for collection and no refund will be issued.

How to process an online return

Step 1

Contact us at info@saltclothing.com.au within 7 days of receiving your order. Please include your order number and all details of your return including a reason. 

Step 2

For Australian customers, we recommend using an Express Post envelope with tracking to return your item/s. From overseas, please ensure that items are sent via International air courier with tracking.

Step 3

Once the item is received and inspected based on the above conditions, we will either dispatch your exchange, provide the refund to the original form of payment less any shipping charges, or assign the store credit against your account.

Returns are processed within 3 business days of receiving the items. Your banking institution may require additional days (up to 5 business days) to process the transaction to your account. You will be notified via email once the refund transaction has taken place, or once your exchange is dispatched.

Refunds for orders placed via Afterpay are processed automatically - any payments already made will be refunded and any future payments will be cancelled or adjusted according to the balance owing.

Faulty Claims 

Your order is carefully checked by our packing team prior to being dispatched, however in the rare instance you receive the incorrect item or a damaged one please contact us immediately providing images of the issue, and the order number to info@saltclothing.com.au. Our team will then review the information and correct any errors.

Claims for items purchased three months or more prior are considered outside the faulty claims period and will be processed at the discretion of Salt Clothing. For faulty items we offer repair, replacement, or full refund. Items damaged through normal wear and tear, accident or misuse are not considered faulty.

Please note

Salt Clothing reserves the right to reject returns or exchanges at our own discretion. In the instance where your item is not accepted, it will be returned to you.

Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable unless the item is faulty.

While we offer a flexible returns policy, frequent returns are closely monitored. Excessive returns by a single customer will be flagged and potentially refused at our discretion.
